Omer Barr is an Israeli documentary photographer based in London.

Growing up in a small kibbutz in southern Israel, Omer experienced a unique upbringing in a cooperative community. In this egalitarian society, every individual shared duties and rights, with all income pooled for the collective well-being of its members. These formative years instilled in Omer the importance of unity, understanding, and the beauty of diversity.

Omer’s journey as a photographer is unlike any other. It began during his service in the Israeli army, where he spent almost three years as a combat photographer in the prestigious IDF Spokesperson Unit.
